Dr Andrew Tickle lectures in geography at Birkbeck College, London and has also been a visiting fellow of the School of Slavonic and East European Studies, University of London.

Dr Ian Welsh lectures in sociology at the University of Wales, Cardiff. He has a long-standing interest in environmental sociology spanning nuclear, climate change and road-building issues.
